Taipei World Trade Center Nangang Exhibition Hall (TWTC Nangang) is a superimposed purpose-built exhibition complex in Nangang, Taipei, which consists of two exhibition halls one over the other. It is located to the east of the Taipei World Trade Center (TWTC), about 15 minutes' drive from the TWTC along the Huangdong Expressway. This complex, Taiwan's argest trade-show venue has the capacity to host 2,467 standard-size (3x3 meters) booths and occupies an exhibition space of 45,360 square meters. Construction began in March 2005, costing US$ 110 million, and opened in March 2008. Taipei World Trade Center Nangang Exhibition Hall is operated by Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA).

Asia's largest computer trade show has opened in the Taiwanese capital Taipei. The latest gadgets and hardware from the region are on display. The computer exhibition, known as Computex, attracts over 130-thousand visitors from Taiwan and around the world. Taiwan's reputation for advances in the software industry continues to attract global buyers. This year's event in Taipei features a number of gadgets built for online security and personal data protection. Devices at the expo include a dynamic-password token that can be used to store long and complex passwords. Another new gadget is a wearable touch-screen smart watch, which features fitness-tracking, phone and text message notifications as well as music control.

The 2013 Taipei International Book Exhibition (TIBE) closed on February 4 with substantial results in publisher participation, copyright transaction, and reading promotion. This year the TIBE saw the participation of 737 publishers from 70 countries, with a total of 2,112 booths across different venues. The number of activities also jumped from 800 last year to 1,123. One of the spotlights this year was the takeoff of original Taiwanese publications, including the debut of various original animations, which illustrates the irreplaceable vivacity and diversity of the TIBE. Sourcing Taiwan, a trade fair put on by the Taiwan External Trade Development Council to connect local suppliers with foreign buyers, kicked off today at Taipei''s Nangang Exhibition Hall. Of the 580 buyers from 61 countries represented at the fair, 43 percent came from Southeast Asia, in a sign of the government''s emphasis on trade with the region under its New Southbound policy.
